Description

A quick tutorial showing how to prepare the Gelatin Trick Recipe with the correct blooming method.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (such as Knox or grass-fed gelatin)
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup hot water (not boiling)

Optional:

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, or stevia for flavor

Instructions

  1. Bloom: Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the cold water. Let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes until it swells and absorbs the water.
  2. Dissolve: Pour hot (not boiling) water over the bloomed gelatin. Stir slowly until the powder dissolves completely and the liquid looks clear.
  3. Flavor: Add your optional ingredients such as lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, or stevia to adjust the taste. Stir again until mixed.
  4. Chill: Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or silicone molds. Place it in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours until firm.

Notes
